Some women wait their whole lives before they become mothers, while others choose to become mothers when they are still in their teens. These lucky young moms get to devote even more of their lifetime to motherhood than mommies like me who responsibly waited to conceive.
I hate to be jealous since it breeds under-eye wrinkles, but I often find myself blushing with envy of these incredibly fortunate teenaged mothers. I would trade anything to have more time with my boys, wouldn’t you? (With your boys, not mine, ha!) Imagine all those years (6) that I wasted towards an associates degree that could’ve been spent raising another good boy in this world. Le sigh.
Are you a teen mother, or do you sometimes, like me, wish you were one? Someone invent a time machine! Please!
